Art of Mali
My favorite African artist is Hannah Baldwin, a woman more renowned for her work with U.S. A.I.D. and Peace Corps. The first four pictures displayed here are photos of her work.

In Sevare, Mac took us to the bead museum to look at all the collections:

We visited an art museum in the town of Segou (midway between Bamako and Sevare). The museum is called Espace Bajidala, Centre d’art Contemporain a Segou. The exhibit we saw was of the masks and marionettes of Mali. Here are my favorites:
